Profuz LAPIS introduces advanced search capabilities and intelligent AI workflow orchestration at IBC2026

Profuz Digital IBC Stand 8.A88 from 11 – 14 September 2026 – RAI, Amsterdam

For Immediate Release – 4 August 2026, Sofia, Bulgaria Profuz Digital is set to launch a powerful upgrade to its Profuz LAPIS digital media management platform at IBC this year at Stand 8.A88. France Galop, Canal+ France, Council of Europe, Bulgarian National Radio and others have all invested in Profuz LAPIS’ ability to deliver a revolutionary solution for effective asset management.

At IBC, the latest version of LAPIS features AI-assisted search across all types of data and in all fields, including improved on-the-fly reporting, archiving module restoration, lifecycles management, with enhancements in metadata handling, the video player and subtitle generation. Enriched multi-source analysis that combines speech recognition, face detection and content fingerprinting are included. Combined with new AI transcription integrations in Profuz Digital’s SubtitleNEXT platform, these advancements make a significant leap in localisation efficiency and broadcast workflow intelligence.

Other new capabilities in LAPIS include S3 Glacier integration, file duplication checking, live subtitles stream generation, enhanced media player with variable speed rewind and fast-forward, integration with ElevenLabs API, an external processing server with automatic content fingerprinting, the embedded metadata handling of files, image extraction from hi-res video, multilingual rich text (formatted text) fields, media source selection for the media player and markers customisation through the UI.

Profuz LAPIS synchronises entire company workflows by distributing and coordinating tasks across multiple AI processing engines into a unified workflow, where data is processed in layers that are enriched at every step. LAPIS brings cumulative benefits combining data from multiple sources including speech recognition paired with face detection in order to create richer and more accurate insights.

LAPIS organises media assets like news, images, audios, movies, documentaries, series, clips, and promotions for categorisation, advanced searching, filtering, meta data tagging and sorting, by centralising all the data securely with reliable efficiency in one system.

Profuz LAPIS can make a major difference in how companies manage their digital assets more effectively, allowing users to search and organise instantaneously with advanced intuitive filter structures tailored to exact needs. CTO at Profuz Digital Kamen Ferdinandov confirms. IBC provides the perfect platform to present these latest advancements, and we look forward to demonstrating how our software can benefit broadcasters, now and in the future.
